Cheyenne—In an effort to better serve and inform the public, the Department of Environmental Quality has placed all enforcement actions on the department’s website.

According to John Corra, director of DEQ, all enforcement actions dating back to January 1, 2006 will be scanned and placed as a link on the web. “Enforcement is one of the key actions of our environmental program and providing the public with an easier access, is appropriate,” said Corra.

The purpose of environmental enforcement actions are to ensure that the permits, laws, and regulations are followed by the regulated community. An enforcement action may include a fine and/or an agreement to future procedures.
